WE ARE BACK!!!

Many of you know and understand why our site has been down for some time now.

We have had a woman by the name of Bettie Ashby AKA Betsy Ashby AKA

Guardian spreading untrue, hurtful rumors about our family and our site. If you want to

know the entire story then Goggle "Runningbears' Den". The funny thing is, you will only

find these rumors spread by ONE individual and that individual is Betsy Ashby.  Anyone

else who has had dealings with us, know who we are and what we stand for and they laugh

at the outrageous rumors Ms. Ashby continues to spread. HOWEVER, if you also Goggle

"Betsy Ashby", you will find numerous stories of alleged sexual abuse and mental abuse of

young girls, sexual harassment, plagiarism, criminal coercion, theft of intellectual property,

slander, defamation and talk of a warrant and reward money for any information leading to

her arrest.

Ms. Ashby has continuously spread rumors that we claim our site was owned by Diamond

Brown Jr.and his family from Snellville, Ga. We have even been told that allegedly

Mr. Brown himself has tried to spread these untruths. It makes one wonder if his ego is

really that large. Does he really believe that everyone wants to be him??  If our claim was

that we were owned by he and his family, don't you think we would have named it

"The Brown's Den" ?? Well, it is called Runningbears' Den simply because our last name

happens to be Yonvadisi which is translated to ... yep, you guessed it ... Runningbear. It is

easy to verify that upon seeing any one of us out and about or at any powwow, we will be

happy to show you our identification, we have nothing to hide.

Ms. Ashby not only took credit for closing our on line shop, she also took the credit for

closing our physical store. Well, I hate to bust your bubble Ms. Ashby but we were

considering closing it long before you came along. First off, we were in a bad spot, a blind

curve that made it easy to miss the store. Secondly, we were doing more on line than we

were in the store and last but not least we were doing so many powwows at the time,

we were unable to use the store for much more than an expensive holding tank for

what we were not taking on the road. We do just fine on line and on the road.

Anyone who knows us, can tell you this fact.

As a family, we have decided that we will not let one alleged psychopathic self proclaimed

 pagan white woman decide the fate of our shop. We are open for business and plan to stay

that way. Runningbears' Den was established in June of 2000 for the soul purpose of

having affordable, good quality, reasonably priced authentic Native American arts and

crafts. Since we opened, we have also established a line of hard to find craft supplies and

herbs. In Sept 2004, we became 100% hand crafted with no imports. Everything you will

find here is hand crafted and is of the highest quality. We represent the art of many

nations of natives but 80% of our  work comes from the members of the Eastern Band

of Cherokee Indians. We buy from many Eastern Band members and our artists are all

documented right here on the site.

If you have heard any of these rumors spread by Ms. Ashby, we do hope that you will take

the time to look at both sides of the issue for yourself. We are tired of trying to keep things

silent and cover up issues when we have done nothing wrong. If you choose to shop with

us, we appreciate it. You will be treated with the utmost courtesy and respect. You will be

pleased with your customer service and your shopping experience here will be a pleasant

one. We have many devoted, loyal customers that come back time and time again. We

appreciate all of you and look forward to doing business in the future.
